“What’s the most effective way to workout?”
If you’re anything like me (and from the sounds of MOST of your emails you are!), you usually find yourself with more desire to workout than you have time. I’ve received quite a few emails lately from people stating that they’re motivated and dedicated to working out, but are often lacking the time they feel like they need to dedicate to it. To all of you, over-worked and under-worked-out people out there, today I offer my solution… INTERVALS! Intervals simply means constantly varying the intensity of your workouts to trick your body into working harder. Rather than workout at a continuous intensity for a given period of time, you can increase your results by interspersing bouts of high-intensity exercise with your regular-intensity activities. This week’s “Weekly Workout Plan” is 5 of my favorite interval workouts – perfect for those days when you’re short on time but still have the desire to shred some major calories! Here we go!
