How fast can you do get through 400 reps?
Are you looking to get in an amazing, total-body workout but are short on time? You’ve come to the right place!! The other day I knew I needed to get my workout on but was incredibly short on time. The result immediately became one of my favorite, at-home workouts – “The 400 Workout”! 100 reps of each of four of my favorite body-weight exercises… for time! Do you have what it takes to break the 10-minute mark? Well, let’s see….
For this workout, we’ll be doing 3 sets of 33 reps of each of 4 exercises (I know that adds up to 396 reps – if you’re obsessed with making it an even 400 then do one set of 34 and 2 sets of 33… I must admit that’s what I did!). Here’s the clincher – you cannot move on to the next set until you’ve completed all 33 reps from your current set. This is a timed workout – see below for how fast you should be able to do it! Good luck, everyone!
Push “Start” on you timer and away you go!
33 Squats
33 Push Ups
33 Chair Triceps Extensions
Feeling good? Wonderful! Now you’ve only got to go through it 2 more times (3 sets total). (Again – you can’t move on to the next exercise until all the reps of one set are completed)
How do you compare?
Less than 10 minutes – You should start a fitness blog immediately
10-15 minutes – Something to brag about!
15-20 minutes – Making great progress!
Over 20 minutes – At least you survived it! Tough workout – well done!!
