Do you strength train?
Hi everyone! And welcome to another week here on Tone-and-Tighten.com! It seems like I’ve been getting a lot of reader emails lately inquiring about strength training. “Is it good for me?” “Will I bulk up if I do?” and “Is it better than cardio alone?” My answers are certainly, not unless you supplement with thousands of calories and protein, and definitely! I’ll drop in a few links to some of my past posts that I’ve written wherein I answer these questions in a little more detail. Today, though, is all about the “Weekly Workout Plan”! Every Monday I outline five specific workouts for you to do this week. Get away from “the norm” or from what your “used to doing”. Step outside your comfort zone and try something new! It’s to you, my strength-curious friends, that I’m dedicating this week. 5 of my favorite strength-training workouts that will keep you coming back for more again and again! One thing – strength training is NOT the same thing as gym membership! Most of these workouts you can do with some simple resistance like dumbbells or a few heavy cans. Have a great week, everyone!!
