NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!
Okay yes – you’re right. Bodyweight exercises can only take strength, tone, and definition so far; but did you know you can get in a killer toning workout with equipment as simple as dumbbells? True story!
Today I’m sharing 5 great dumbbell leg exercises to sculpt and tone the major muscle groups in your legs. Truthfully, this workout came to me by coincidence as you’ll hear about in the video. I’m calling it “5 Dumbbell Leg Exercises You’re Not Doing – But Should Be” and it starts up right now!
So the other day I was headed to the gym for leg day. I had my mind set on 5-6 exercises I was going to do for my workout and things were ready to go. However, as it does sometimes – life happened. My daughter needed help with some school work and my wife needed some help with one of her projects. Where I was planning on about 70 minutes for a gym workout, all of the sudden that time got cut down to about 35 minutes.
Now I had two options – 1) bag it – I could just workout tomorrow or 2) make the most of the time I had! I ended up heading down into our basement and coming up with this awesome little workout.
Moral of the story – LIFE always happens. There will always be a reason NOT to exercise. However, we have the power to REACT and not to just be acted UPON. The choice is always YOURS. Remember – actions determine outcomes and you’ll never get where you want to go by standing still.
Just some food for thought before we get started.
