Here on Tone and Tighten I get asked a lot of questions. One of the more common areas I get asked about is the lower body – specifically how to increase strength and improve shape in the legs and hips. “How do I add definition to my thighs?” “How can I perk up my booty?” “How can I shape my ‘thunder thighs”?
Well you don’t need a gym membership or fancy home equipment to sculpt awesome legs! There are a ton of bodyweight exercises you can do to add strength and definition to your lower body… and I want to show you how!
This lower-body workout is perfect for anyone without a lot of time and without a lot of equipment. Let’s get it started!
For this workout we’ll perform 6 exercises in an interval format. You’ll do each exercise for 40 seconds of work and follow that with a 20-second “active rest” low interval. I’ve included demonstrations for beginners as well as options for intermediate/advanced.
