“If you like pina colada… and getting mad, awesome gains…”
Piña colada is one of my favorite flavors. The fresh blend of pineapple and coconut reaffirms my belief that I should have been born on an island somewhere! I like it so much I decided I needed to make it into a protein smoothie. After a few different tries with a few different products I finally arrived at the combination that I like the best… and today I wanted to share it with you! Keep reading for my favorite “Piña Colada Protein Smoothie” recipe and prepare to be whisked away to your island in the sun!

I love the ease with which my Designer 725 Blender whips up these delicious concoctions. 1 scoop protein powder
1/2 banana – sliced and frozen
1 C pineapple chunks (fresh tastes better, but you can get it frozen to save on time!)

Put all the ingredients in your blender and blend!! Doesn’t get much easier than that!

Do you have a favorite brand of protein powder you like to use?
Jared says
Hi Erin! I really like Isopure, but there are two brands (6 Star and Body Fortress) that you can buy at Smith’s and Walmart that are also really good. The best advice I can give you is read the label before buying! You want one with high protein, but low calories, cholesterol, and fat (some of them really pour on the additives!). Also be mindful of the serving size – some will boast 30 g protein per serving, but it’s 3 scoops per serving! Hope this helps and thanks for following T&T!
