We all wish. We wish we were a little bit lighter. We wish our muscles were a little bit bigger. We wish we could run faster, run farther, jump higher, eat healthier. In the world of personal fitness there are a thousand things you could possibly wish for. However it’s never the wishing that gets you there…


In fitness, just like in life, you get out what you put in. I’m not trying to discredit wishes and dreams; they’re the essence of motivation. However without ACTION that’s all they’re ever be – wishes and dreams. Goals are achieved in the action, not the planning. Wishing is one thing – showing up everyday, sweating, grinding, hurting, fatiguing, repeating… these are the actions that will make those wishes your reality. Don’t ever be discouraged by the results you didn’t get from the work you didn’t do. You can do it! Get up, get moving, and start doing something today that next month you will love yourself for! You totally got this!
