Every day is a new opportunity to do something awesome.
One of my personal favorite draws about fitness is the idea of constant self-improvement. I love that the choices I make today are going to directly impact how I feel, how I move, and ultimately how I live tomorrow. It’s this idea of constant and continuous self-improvement that led me to my motivation post today. It’s important that you stay focused on your progress, on your improvement, and on your overall realization of your goals. What are you doing today that is better than yesterday? What do you plan to do tomorrow that will improve upon today? Maybe you resisted that cookie today after lunch. Wonderful! Good for you! Maybe tomorrow you can cut the cookie and walk around the block. Always take time to celebrate your accomplishments, but also make it a priority to establish new goals. Remember, personal health is not a “one and done” phenomenon – it’s doing things right and doing things consistently that ultimately lead down the path to success.
