Take, for example, a pull-up; in my opinion it’s one of the hardest body-weight exercises in existence. If you’ve always wanted to be able to do a pull-up but deep down inside you believe it will never happen, then you’re probably right. You won’t take those necessary steps to make that dream a reality because you are beat before you start. Now consider the alternative. If you’ve always wanted to be able to do a pull-up and you decide that one day you will do one. You start training differently- more lat pull-downs and body-weight assisted pull-ups. Eventually getting rid of the assistance and the day comes when you are able to complete one full pull-up. What was the difference in the two scenarios? YOUR MIND. In scenario one negativity beats the goal and nothing ever comes to fruition. In scenario two attitude leads to a plan which leads to action which leads to success. You thinking is the difference.
Bottom line… WHETHER YOU THINK YOU CAN OR THINK YOU CAN’T… YOU’RE RIGHT.
Make it happen,
Jared
Have a great day!
