In the fitness world there will always be obstacles. Sleeping in, lack of time, dessert, children, spouse, job (the list goes on) can all be potential obstacles in realizing your fitness goals. The important thing to understand is that they don’t have to be!
You’re always going to run into challenges, you can always make excuses. The difference between those who want to be fit and those who are fit lies in what you do when you’re faced with these challenges. Will you roll over and let them overpower you? Admit defeat, turn around, and walk away with your head held low? Or the opposite- find away over, around, even through your obstacle if needs be! I encourage you this week to find ways to beat your obstacles. Wake up 10 minutes earlier tomorrow and get in a quick workout. Put down that second helping of food or cut that piece of cake in half. Most importantly, don’t let these obstacles obscure your vision of your goals. You can do it. You can overcome these setbacks and make yourself a stronger person.
Make it happen,
Jared
