In the world, and especially in the world of fitness, there are numerous ways to fail. Unfortunately failing is a part of life. Not meeting deadlines. Not making the grade. Not sticking to a diet. Not following an exercise plan. For every success there is a failure. What defines you – your character, your person, your outcomes, even your future – is what you choose to do about it.
With every failure comes two options – you can surrender and let it define you or you can do everything in your power to pick yourself up and do something about it. I say that you have never truly failed until you choose the first option. As long as there’s fight left in you, you have not failed. Do not let a bad day define you. Do not let one small failure cause you to lose sight of your goals. You will slip, trip, stumble, and even fall along the way, but until you give in you are still succeeding. The road may be rough along the way, but that makes the destination that much more splendid.
