As a wardrobe stylist my highest priority for my personal consultations is to help them to develop a functional wardrobe and these are the four steps I follow: 1) Understand how to flatter their unique body 2) Inventory their closet 3) Determine their wardrobe needs 4) And then....take them shopping.
From my experience, most women only use 20 - 30% of the clothes in their closet and have a "hit or miss" approach to clothes shopping.
