Sometimes it is hard to eat something healthy for lunch. I promise you that if you put in a little extra time, you won't be sorry! These Healthy Tuna Pita Sandwiches taste so good and are super easy to make! You will love them!
Healthy Tuna Pita Sandwich
1 large tomato, sliced
1/2 cup of sprouts
2 Tablespoons fat-free mayo, or light miracle whip
1 teaspoon horseradish mustard (optional)
1 can (6 ounces) tuna packed in water
1/4 cup of celery, chopped into small pieces
2 whole wheat pita pockets
Directions:
Combine mayo, horseradish mustard, celery, and tuna in a small bowl and mix until combined.
Place half the tuna mixture in one pita and the rest in the other.
