During the holiday season, research has shown that the average person will gain about 5 pounds.
With all the amazing food and holiday parties, how could you not gain at least 5 pounds?!
Now, I’m not saying that we should all go on killer diets (that will come on January 1st!), but there are little things that you can be doing to help keep off that extra weight gain.
Here’s one of them: drink water.
There are so many benefits to drinking water and one way to keep the holiday pounds from creeping up on you is to stay hydrated.
These days, doctors don’t say that drinking 64 oz is the rule, but just a good guideline to follow (many doctors and health professionals recommend drinking half of your body weight in ounces each day).
For the next 30 days, I am going to challenge you to drink at least 64 oz of water each day.
You can still drink your soda or coffee, but it doesn’t count towards your daily 8 cups of water.
As a fun way to track your progress over the next 30 days, I have included a 30 day printable calendar that you can use to monitor how you’re doing.
So, are you up for the challenge?! Get those water bottles ready- you got this!
