Forget ties, socks, and underwear and get dad what he really wants this year!
Alright – I get it… Ties, Socks, and underwear are important (in fact – if you are anything like me or married to someone like me chances are holidays are the only day you get stuff like that!). But the honest truth is they’re just super boring to get! Hook dad up this year and give him the gifts that will really blow his holy socks right off! I can honestly say this is one of the best Father’s Day gift guides you’ll find online because… let’s face it… I’ve got some experience in the “dad” area. Take note, world – these are the things we really want!
To make things easier for you I tried to group these bad boys in order of price – lowest to highest. Pick an amount you want to spend on dad and look right around that area!
Kettlebell ($9+)
Kettlebells are the new dumbbells! These bad boys are so versatile with so many different exercises available. That “Dad Of Fitness” in your life will be thrilled with this gift!
BlenderBottle GoStak ($12)
This little item has changed my snacking forever! Fits everything from carrot sticks and hummus to trail mix, almonds, grapes, and pretzel sticks! The coolest part is that it’s such an easy and convenient way to transport your pre-workout and protein drink blends. Inexpensive and I literally use mine every day!!
Water Bottle ($12)
One that I literally use all day everyday! I take it to work, to the gym, and keep it in the fridge at home. Drain it twice and I know I’ve got my 64 ounces for the day – I usually go through mine 3+ times a day. I also love the wide mouth to load it up easily with ice cubes.
Cell Phone Armband ($12+)
I love my armband! Keeps my tunes with me but gets my phone out of my pockets and off my waistband. Super affordable with a lot of features.
Team Hats (fitted) ($20)
If your man is athletic, chances are he has a favorite team. Let him support them with confidence and style with a good-looking hat. Side note – fitted hats are incredibly more comfortable than adjustable!
Grilling tools ($20)
Because what man doesn’t like cooking with fire?! I’m in need of some new grilling tools – chances are your man is, also!
Baseball gloves for him and the kids ($20 – $50)
Another one of my favorites! One of the main things we want as dads is any excuse to spend more time with the kiddos! Playing catch with my old man was one of my favorite things to do as a kid. Now it’s also one of my favorite things to do with my children.
New gym clothes ($20+)
Because as much as dad loves clothes for the office, we would much rather have clothes to sweat in!
Pull Up Bar ($31)
One of my favorite exercises that is impossible to do at home… until now! My home pull-up bar is essential to my home gym. Just make sure you get one that locks in to your trim above your door (they’re a lot more secure than the ones that screw in to the sides of the door frame)
Chromecast ($33)
Easily one of the best gifts I have ever received! This is one that I use almost everyday. Casts pictures, videos, Netflix, and more from any device (phone, iPad, etc) to your TV! Even the kids ask to “watch TV from dad’s phone”!
LunchBots Bento Trio lunchbox ($35)
A little more than you’ll typically pay for a lunch box, but worth every penny! Encourage healthy meals made easy by filling these convenient compartments with veggies, fruits, and healthy lunches dad will love.
Putting mat ($40)
A putting mat is an awesome gift. A putting mat that also works on your skills at the same time?! Guaranteed “favorite child” status in no time!
Dumbbells ($49 – $100)
This is actually the set of dumbbells I have in my basement! My wife gave them to me for Christmas a couple of years ago and I LOVE them! Tons of weight at a super great price!
Lightning Digital AV Adapter ($50)
Because if you’re like me you and your spouse battle nightly about who gets the charger overnight! (Where did that other one go, anyway?!)
Lightning Digital AV Adapter for HDMI ($50)
Display your iPhone on any screen via an HDMI adapter! Perfect for presentations, movies, pictures and videos, etc.
Golf balls ($54)
One piece of advice – not all golf balls are created equally!! Follow-up piece of advice – if your dad golfs chances are he’s got a ball he plays regularly. I love the Titleist Pro V1; my advice is to break into dad’s golf bag and find out what he plays.
P90X ($70)
The original trendsetter in at-home HIIT workouts! We dads need amazing results just like the rest of you!!
Junior golf club set ($72)
One of the best Father’s Day gifts I ever received was actually sets of clubs for my two oldest kids!! Whether it’s in the backyard, the driving range, or out on the course – I love getting out and sharing this passion with my kiddos!
Otterbox Cell Phone Case With Battery ($77)
Maximum cell phone protection with extended battery life?! This cell phone case actually charges your phone, too! Definitely on my wish list for this year!
WOD Mat ($90)
One of my favorite recent finds! This is, hands down, my favorite workout mat I’ve even found! Super thick, incredibly comfortable, durable, and 100% natural material (nontoxic). You have to check this one out!
Tom Tom GPS Run Watch ($94)
A must-have for any runner! Tracks your route, pace, distance, etc. If dad runs – he has to have this watch!
Camel Back Hydration Pack ($109)
This is actually a gift I received a couple of years ago and, honestly, I wasn’t all that excited about it. Boy was I wrong! Great for hiking through the summer and skiing through the winter – I love that it offers the hydration you can wear on your back but also has a crazy amount of room for storage! Perfect for a day of hiking, a day on the slopes, biking, walking, etc!
Jaybird Bluebuds X Sport Headphones ($124)
The best in personal active audio that I have found! The ear buds come with a patented fin that fits perfectly in the interior of your ear to keep them locked in place even under the most strenuous of activities. Combine that with the sweat proof guarantee and dad will rock for a very, very long time!
Go Pro HERO Camera ($130)
The best in home video entertainment! Dozens of different harnesses and mounts that making capturing any event from any angle a piece of cake. Even take it underwater! A must-have for any mountain-biking, snow-skiing, snorkeling, adventure dad wanting to capture his moments in full HD.
FitBit Charge HR ($150)
My go-to fitness tracker! The FitBit charge is a powerhouse. It not only tracks steps/activity, but tracks heart rate, calories burned, distance travelled, and floors climbed. It even tells time! I love mine – you become a lot more aware of how active you have (or haven’t) been when it’s right on your wrist!
Jawbone Jambox Bluetooth Speaker ($150)
My personal favorite bluetooth speaker. We use it to play Pandora and Spotify, but it also works great to play movies on your laptop when the sound needs a little boost!
Beats by Dre headphones ($179)
The premier in personal sound quality! Get the headphones that not only set the industry standard, they changed it all together! Dad will be stoked… trust me on this one!
Amazon Echo ($199)
Have you seen the Amazon Echo yet? It’s like Siri and your favorite blue tooth speaker got together and created something amazing. Tell it to play music, keep you calendar, generate to-do lists, ask it questions, etc. Check out this video for more; make dad’s day by buying one here.
Portable Bluetooth/WiFi Projector ($222)
Project movies, pictures, internet searches, Netflix, and much, much more! All from your phone/tablet, all wirelessly, all through a high-quality projector! Camille if you read this post at all – this would be a GREAT idea!
Apple Watch ($349)
Probably at the top of every dad’s wish list this year (definitely at the top of mine!!)! This bad boy literally has it all and then some! Text, calls, and emails, but also fitness tracker, Instagram, and stocks! Every man’s Dick Tracy fantasy come true!
I hope you found this list useful! Created by a dad for dads – pick him something from here and you’re sure to wow dad this year!
What are you getting your dad for Father’s Day this year?
