Grilled Hawaiian Chicken

Delicious grilled chicken loaded with Hawaiian flavors - it's always a hit with everyone who tries it.
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  1. In a small bowl, mix the first six ingredients.
  2. Pour marinade in a large resealable plastic bag and add chicken. Seal bags and place in the fridge for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Remove bag from fridge, drain and discard marinade from chicken.
  4. Grill chicken, covered, over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until no longer pink.
  5. Serve with pineapple on the side.
