With regards to my own personal health and fitness, I am typically all about strength training. Circuits, HIIT, weights, and every other higher-intensity workout is where I typically invest most of my personal fitness time. However, every now and then I’m reminded of the importance to slow down, stretch, and simply breathe deeply. This week, a patient of mine once again reminded me of this fact when he pointed out to me a lot of the things I was recommending for him were actually yoga poses. That’s why today for your “Weekly Workout Plan” I’m switching things up a little bit. Today I wanted to share with you 10 of the best yoga flows that I have found on YouTube! Grab your mat, find somewhere comfortable, and let’s slow things down a bit. Here we go…
I am absolutely not a yoga instructor. I can put together a killer workout that will leave your muscles sore and your lungs breathless, but when it comes to yoga I would rather leave it to the exerts. That being said here are some of my favorite yoga videos when I need to slow down a bit and breathe. I’ve also included a few that are really great workouts! I hope you enjoy them like I do!
